# Build

The **Build** tab turns an event's included recipes into a production view. It brings together the quantities, assignees, locations, instructions, stems, hard goods, labor estimates, and progress needed to make the event's work.

The top of the page controls access to a shared Build page and provides **Print**, **Build Tags**, **QR Code**, and **Copy Sharable Link**. The page also summarizes completion and labor before listing the **Hard Good Pull List** and the event's recipes. Expand a recipe when you need its production details or progress controls.

In this example, **Published** is on and **Expires** is off, so the shared Build page is available without an expiration date. The summary shows 0% complete, 13.08 total in-studio hours, 0 completed hours, 13.08 remaining hours, and 1.43 onsite hours. The **Hard Good Pull List** and recipe cards appear below the summary, with quantity, assignee, and **Location** controls on the recipe cards.

## Connect recipes to production

Build uses the event's included recipes. A recipe quantity tells the team how many units to make. Its materials and instructions describe what each unit needs. Its labor estimates help FlowerBuddy calculate the completion summary. For a recipe group, review both the group quantity and the quantities of the individual recipes inside it.

The Build page is different from the proposal. The proposal explains what the client is being offered. Build explains what the team needs to prepare and complete. The same event information can support both views, but a client-facing proposal section does not replace Build instructions.
