# Review event summaries on the Dashboard

The Dashboard event summary cards help you scan the next events in three broad stages: **Inquiry**, **Proposal**, and **Booked**. They are a quick snapshot of the Events page, so use the full Events page when you need the complete list or more filters.

The cards below show the count, event names, and **See All** links. The empty Proposal card shows the message FlowerBuddy uses when a status has no matching events.

## Read a summary card

Each card represents a main event status:

* **Inquiry** is for potential events you are discussing.
* **Proposal** is for events where you are preparing or presenting an offer.
* **Booked** is for confirmed events.

The number at the left is the total number of matching visible events. The names below it are a short list ordered by event date. The Dashboard uses the current workspace and your account access, so it does not necessarily represent every record in the product.

The summary excludes retail records and events in completed, cancelled, lost, or archived states. An event can also be missing if its date is not in the future. Open the [Events](/reference/events.md) page when you need to review those records.

## Open an event

Select an event name in a card to open its Event Page. From there you can review the event's details, tasks, recipes, proposal, order, or build information.

Opening the name does not change the event status. Use the Event Page controls or the [Events page](/reference/events.md) when you intend to change status.

## Open the full status list

Select **See All** in a populated card to open the Events page with that status selected. The link next to **Inquiry** opens the inquiry list, the link next to **Proposal** opens the proposal list, and the link next to **Booked** opens the booked list.

The Events page gives you the tools to search, filter, sort, assign, and manage the records in that status. See [Search, filter, and sort events](/reference/events/find-filter-sort-and-review-events.md).

## Empty summaries

When no matching event is available, the card shows **No events in New Inquiries**, **No events in Proposals**, or **No events in Booked Events**, depending on the card. This means the Dashboard has no event to list for that status under the current workspace and access, not that the event has been deleted.
