# Dashboard

The **Dashboard** is the starting page for your active workspace. It gives you a quick snapshot of upcoming Inquiry, Proposal, and Booked events, plus workspace goals and recent form submissions when those features are available to you.

Use the Dashboard for a quick check of what needs attention. Open the [Events](/reference/events.md) page when you need to search, filter, sort, or manage the full event list. Open an event name from the Dashboard when you want to continue on its [Event Page](/reference/event-page.md).

The example below shows the workspace name, event summary cards, form submissions, and Goals together.

The page header includes New Event. Inquiry, Proposal, and Booked summary cards show upcoming event counts and links, while the Form submissions panel, Goals section, and Refresh Progress control appear below." width="550">

## Event summaries

The three summary cards give you a quick view of future event records that are visible to you. Retail records are not included:

* **Inquiry** shows events that are still being discussed.
* **Proposal** shows events for which you are preparing or presenting an offer.
* **Booked** shows events that have been confirmed.

Each card shows its total count. When events are available, it also shows a short list of names and **See All**. Select an event name to open that event, or select **See All** to open the Events page with the matching status selected. [Review event summaries on the Dashboard](/reference/dashboard/review-event-summaries.md) explains the cards and their empty states.

## Start or reopen event work

Select **New Event** to open the same **Create New Event** flow used from the Events page. Enter the event name and date, then optionally choose a template. For the complete creation steps, see [Create an event](/reference/events/create-an-event.md).

Select an event name in a summary card to open its Event Page. The Dashboard does not create a second copy of the event or change its status when you open it.

## Goals

The **Goals** section lets you record a yearly target and compare progress from Booked and Completed events with that target. Choose a year, review the goal values, and select **Refresh Progress** when you want to update the figures. [Set and review workspace goals](/reference/dashboard/set-and-review-workspace-goals.md) explains the fields and calculations.

## Form submissions

When Forms access is enabled for your account, the **Form submissions** panel shows active submissions in the workspace. It includes the submitter, submission time, and linked event when one exists. Select **See all submissions** to open the full Form Submissions list. [Review form submissions on the Dashboard](/reference/dashboard/review-form-submissions.md) explains what the compact panel includes.

## Availability

The Dashboard always shows the event summaries available to your account. Goals and Form submissions can depend on workspace access. A panel may also be empty when there is no matching data, such as a status with no future events or a workspace with no active form submissions.
