# Locations

**Locations** are reusable named places and addresses. They can help you organize event activity, but they are different from a particular event timeline entry and from Inventory storage locations.

Use the Events count to see where a saved location is used. Event-specific timing, notes, and proposal visibility remain on the event's location entry.
