# Generate library images with AI

FlowerBuddy can create a new library image from a description. This is useful for an early visual reference when you do not yet have a photograph, but the result should be reviewed as a reference rather than treated as proof of available flowers or a final client deliverable.

## Describe the image

1. From **Core Data**, open **Images** and select **Add Image**.
2. Select the **Generate with AI** icon.
3. Enter a specific description in **Prompt**. Include the arrangement type, flowers or materials, palette, setting, and style that matter to your reference.
4. Add an optional inspiration image when its composition, palette, or style would make the request clearer.

For example, use a prompt such as "Low garden centerpiece with blush garden roses, white ranunculus, and airy greenery in a stone urn." An inspiration image can guide the overall look, but it does not guarantee an exact match.

The icon opens the **Generate Image with AI** dialog, where you can describe the reference before spending a credit.

## Review before adding it to the library

Select **Generate** and review the result. Refine the prompt and select **Regenerate** when the composition, color, or level of detail is not useful. Select **Use Image** only after the result represents the reference you want to keep, then add a title, description, and tags so the image can be found later.

Check generated images carefully. Flowers, vessels, scale, and details may be inaccurate or impractical, even when the overall mood is useful. Use a recipe, product record, or supplier information for planning facts rather than relying on a generated image.

## Credits and availability

Enter a prompt before **Generate** becomes available. Each selection of **Generate** uses one available AI credit. The button shows the remaining credit count and is unavailable when none remain. Do not select **Generate** merely to test the dialog when credits are limited.

Review any generated title, description, and tags before relying on them. Generated metadata can be incomplete or inaccurate.
