# Add and manage library images

Your image library is a private workspace resource. Use it for design references, inspiration, or product photos your team will want to find again. Adding a library image does not publish it to a client or add it to an event by itself.

## Add an image

1. From **Core Data**, open **Images** and select **Add Image**.
2. Select the image file from your computer. In the crop step, keep the flower arrangement, product, or other useful subject in the visible frame.
3. Save the upload to add it to the library. Open the saved image and enter a clear title, a description, and any useful tags.

Use a title that identifies what the image shows, such as "Garden rose centerpiece," rather than a temporary filename. A short description can capture details that are not obvious in the thumbnail, such as the palette, container, or design style. Tags give your team another way to group related references.

Selecting **Add Image** opens the upload tile over the Images tab. Select the tile or drop a file to begin the upload.

## Find and update an image

Search the **Images** tab by title or description, or narrow the library with tags. Select an image to review or change its title, description, and tags. These changes organize the library only. They do not change the image file itself.

For example, a photo titled "Summer meadow ceremony arrangement" can be tagged with the colors or design collection your team uses when preparing future proposals. Use [Manage tags](/reference/core-data/tags/manage-tags.md) to rename or remove a tag across associated library images and recipe templates.

## Remove an image

Open the image and select the delete icon when you no longer need the saved library record. Confirm only after checking that the image is not a reference your team still uses. FlowerBuddy removes it from the image library, and the confirmation notes that this does not change events. Deletion cannot be undone, so use a new title or tag when the image is still useful but needs better organization.
