# Companies

**Companies** are reusable business or organization records associated with clients and professional contacts. A company's members are associated people, not FlowerBuddy workspace members.

Keep the company separate from its people when an organization has more than one contact or its details can change independently. The tab lists company contact details and the **Members** count. Select that count to see the linked clients and professional contacts before you update or remove the company record.
