# Core Data

**Core Data** is the workspace's reusable information. Use it to keep flowers, hard goods, images, tax definitions, people, companies, and locations ready to select instead of entering the same details again.

These records are private to your workspace. They are not a public catalog for clients. A saved client, company, professional contact, or location can be used on more than one event, so review the places a record is used before changing or deleting it.

Your workspace access and enabled features can affect the tabs and actions you see. For example, Product Codes and Product Tiers appear only when product details are available, and connected QuickBooks actions appear only in eligible accounting setups.

Flowers and materials supply the catalogs used in recipes. Their planning prices help estimate costs, while an event-specific price applies only to that event. **Inventory** tracks stock on hand and is separate from these reusable catalogs. Product Codes and Product Tiers support retail products when product details are available.
