# Sign up

Use **Sign Up** to create a new FlowerBuddy account. Direct sign-up has two steps: the first establishes the account and the second collects business setup and optional discovery information. Sign-up from a workspace invitation uses the invitation's account path instead.

The first step keeps the account details, currency, and agreement selection together before **Next** becomes available.

## Enter account details

For direct sign-up, enter **Email**, **Password**, **Repeat Password**, **First Name**, **Last Name**, and **Currency** on the first step. The password must be 8 to 50 characters, and **Repeat Password** must match it. Confirm the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy agreement, then select **Next**.

If you arrived through a workspace invitation, FlowerBuddy pre-fills the invitation email and does not let you replace it. This connects the new account to the email that was invited. That path does not show the direct-sign-up Currency or Company fields, and **Sign Up** replaces **Next** after the account details and agreement.

## Complete business setup

For direct sign-up, the second step asks for **Company** and includes the optional **Company website** field. It can also collect an estimated number of events, estimated revenue per event, prior floral software, and how you heard about FlowerBuddy. **Other** appears when you select it as the source. **Add a referral code** is optional.

Enter your business website in **Company website**, or leave the field blank. Invitation sign-up skips this business-setup step.

Use your own business details. For example, select a revenue range that describes your business rather than a range from an example image. The terms and privacy agreement choice appears on the first step before **Next** becomes available.

The optional discovery answers help FlowerBuddy understand how you found the product. They do not choose a workspace role, create an Event Role, or change the invitation permissions when you are signing up from an invitation.
