# Reset your password

Use password reset when you cannot sign in or when you want to replace your password from the account-access screen. The reset process uses the email address on the FlowerBuddy account.

The reset-request page asks only for the account email. It does not expose the current password or let you select a workspace.

## Request a reset link

1. On **Log In**, select **Forgot your password?**.
2. Enter your account **Email**.
3. Select **Reset Password**.
4. Open the instructions sent to that email.

FlowerBuddy confirms that it has prepared the password-reset instructions. If there is no account for the address, the request reports that no account exists with that email. Check the spelling before trying again.

## Set the new password

Open the reset link and enter **Password** and **Repeat Password**. The password must be 8 to 50 characters, and the two fields must match. Select **Reset Password** to save it, then use the success screen to return to login.

The new password applies to the FlowerBuddy account, not just the workspace you were most recently using. After you return to login, use the account Email with the new password.

Do not share the reset link. The link is part of the account-security process, and the completed reset changes the password for that account.
