# Log in and log out

Use **Log In** when you already have a FlowerBuddy account. Enter the Email and Password for that account, then select **Sign In**. A successful sign-in opens FlowerBuddy after any required email verification is complete.

The Log In page keeps the alternate account-access paths below the sign-in button.

## Use the alternate access links

The Log In page also provides **Forgot your password?** and **Sign up**. Select **Forgot your password?** when you need a reset link. Select **Sign up** only when you need to create an account. If you opened a workspace invitation, FlowerBuddy keeps that invitation connected to the access path and can pre-fill its email address.

If the Log In page reports that the Email and Password do not match an account, check the email address and password. Use [Reset your password](/reference/account-access/reset-your-password.md) instead of repeatedly trying a password you do not know.

## Follow an internal event link

An internal FlowerBuddy event link can send you to **Log In** when your session has expired. Sign in with an account that belongs to the workspace containing the event. After sign-in, FlowerBuddy can open the event only when that account can view it in the current workspace. A tab-specific link can open its named event tab when that tab is available to the account.

This does not make the link public and is not a Client Portal link. If FlowerBuddy reports that the event was not found or cannot be viewed, check the current workspace after signing in. ## Log out

When you are signed in, select your profile picture or account icon in the upper-right corner and choose **Log Out**. FlowerBuddy returns you to account access. Signing out ends the current session but does not remove your account from any workspace.

If you are using a shared computer, log out when you finish. Logging out does not delete saved events or retail plans, alter workspace membership, or change another person's access.
