Create Recipe Template From Scratch (video min 0:00)

  • Navigate to the top navigation bar and click on "Data."

  • Select the "Recipe Templates" tab.

  • Click the "+ Recipe" button to open a pop-up with a recipe card.

  • Add inspiration photos, notes, flowers, hard goods, and labor in the recipe card.

  • Give the recipe template a descriptive name to help identify it later, such as "Bridal Bouquet Boho."

  • Organize the template with tags, adding existing tags or creating new ones like "Boho."

  • Optionally, add color tags to the template.

  • Save the template once all details are added.

  • Navigate to your event dashboard and enter a specific event, such as "Jen and Isaiah."

  • Find the recipe you want to save as a template, e.g., "Bar Arrangement," and expand it.

  • Click "Save as Template" at the bottom of the recipe.

  • Modify details in the template if necessary, such as changing the quantity or adjusting the pricing formula.

  • Add descriptive tags and color tags like "Peaches and Cream" to the template.

  • Save the template with the new modifications.

  • Navigate to your event, such as "Mike and Marie," and open the "Recipes" tab.

  • Click "Add Template" and use the search window to find templates.

  • Apply tag filters to sort templates by relevance, such as "Peaches and Cream."

  • Select multiple templates from the search results and add them to the event.

  • Organize the templates in the event by clicking, holding, and dragging them into order.

Apply Recipe Template To Existing Event Recipe (video min 9:14)

  • Go into an event, such as "Kim and Jim," where recipes are already added.

  • Select a specific recipe card, e.g., "Bridal Bouquet," and find the "Apply Template" button at the bottom.

  • Choose the template you wish to apply, like "Green and White Bridal Bouquet."

  • Decide which elements from the template (e.g., proposal notes, florist notes, inspiration photos) should overwrite the existing data.

  • Apply the template, ensuring that selected elements are transferred to the existing recipe card.

  • Review the updated recipe card for cost, profit, and added elements like flowers and labor.
